Position Overview
MEH Workforce Solutions is seeking a skilled Software Engineer to support and improve the digital systems used across our recruitment, workforce operations and business administration.
Based at our Nasiriyah office, the successful candidate will design, build, test and maintain reliable applications, internal tools and system integrations.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop and maintain web applications and internal business tools.
* Improve digital recruitment and workforce-management processes.
* Build and maintain APIs, database integrations and reporting tools.
* Test, troubleshoot and improve system performance and reliability.
* Follow secure development practices and protect company data.
* Translate operational requirements into practical technical solutions.
* Maintain clear technical documentation and version-controlled code.
* Provide technical support to internal users when required.
Qualifications and Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline. Equivalent practical experience may be considered.
* At least three years of relevant software-development experience.
* Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C# or Java.
* Experience with HTML, CSS, APIs, SQL databases and Git.
* Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
* Fluent written and spoken English is required.
* Arabic language ability is desirable.
* Must be eligible to work in Iraq and available to work on-site in Nasiriyah under a local employment contract.

* Cloud hosting, application deployment or system administration.
* Cybersecurity and data-protection practices.
